Davey Jordan

Beginning with a Porsche Speedster in 1959,
Davey went on to win numerous SCCA championships and was driver of
the year often. His successes got him picked by Otto Zipper
to drive his 904's, often with Scooter Patrick. Then it was on to
the USRRC series, in Carrera 6's and later in Lola's. Carroll
Shelby then selected Davey to drive the Toyota 2000 GT in SCCA
National events. James Garner, with the newly formed American
International Racing, had Davey driving at Daytona and Sebring,
first in Corvettes, then in Lola T70 coupes. The Garner program
moved to Formula 5000 with teammate Scooter Patrick, on to a
Formula 5000 Eagle then to the Vasek Polak Porsche 908.
