Jerry Entin

Jerry Entin drove Ol Yaller Mk. II in club racing then a factory Cheetah in club and pro racing. Going onto win the club race at Stardust behind the wheel of his Cheetah,  He bought the first customer McLaren from John Coombs in 1965.  It was taken to Riverside for Graham Hill to race in the “Times Grand Prix”.  Jerry’s McLaren and Cheetah also appeared  in the movie ‘Spinout” staring Elvis Presley.  Starting in 1966, Jerry purchased a McLaren Mk2.  This was the ex- Peter Revson car that he would campaign in the 1967 USRRC and Can Am series. Finishing 6th at the Elkhart 500 with Sam Posey and also 11th at another Can Am event in Elkhart and  7th at a Can Am race in Las Vegas.  For 1968 Jerry bought a Lola T-70-3 to campaign in the USRRC and
the CanAm series. Also for the that year(1968) he drove the factory LeGrand Formula A (F5000)car. Entering  5 races, winning 3 and not finishing 2, one at Elkhart Lake in which a mechanic broke the car bringing it to line and the other at Donnybrooke with a broken rear hub.
