Beginning with regional championships in the northeast, Tony was offered a ride in the legendary Group 44 Triumph, where he Tony Adamowicz proceeded to rack up numerous wins. These successes produced the opportunity to drive a Porsche 911, winning the 1968 under two liter Trans-Am championship and then the 1969 Formula 5000 Series championship in a Chevy powered Eagle; 

Tony burst on the international endurance racing scene where he played a vital role in the legendary battles between Ferrari and Porsche in the 1970's, driving Ferrari's, the awesome Porsche 917 and Greenwood Corvettes.

Tony also drove a variety of Can Am and Trans Am cars, the Electramotive IMSA GTO cars, Nissan GTP cars and is still active today as a driving instructor.
