11-99 Foundation

The California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation was founded by visionary civic leader Bob Weinberg.  In 1981, Bob became aware of a CHP family facing a grave financial crisis brought on by the prolonged illness of their child, and mounting bills not covered by benefits.  When he discovered that there was no organized community support for CHP families in times of crisis, he founded the California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation.  Today, thousands of caring and concerned people from all walks of life are donors to the CHP 11-99 Foundation.  The donations made to the CHP 11-99 Foundation are directly applied to providing financial assistance to CHP families in need.  The Foundation's beneficiaries serve as living testaments to the very real difference the contributions our donors and supporters make. 

The donations made and the kindness, dedication and love shared by our supporters touch and improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of Californians each year.  The California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit, charitable organization.
